Both Mrs. Supple and Mrs. Goins are wonderful administrators and are always willing to listen to my concerns. I wish there were more shcools like Brusly Elementary in the State of Louisiana. My daughter is in first grade. Her teacher is Ms. Ashley Babin. Payton has been at BES since Kindergarten and her teacher then was Ms. Sabra Smith. These two women have made my life so much easier. I am the parent of a second grader at BES. He has been there since Kindergarten and I have been very satisfied. Mrs. Kirkland was his 1st grade teacher and she was wonderful. I was so pleased with everything about Brusly Elementary School. The majority of the teachers are wonderful, and Mrs. Strauss was a terrific principal! The academic program is great and the teachers are so concerned about their students.

... Read more Disciplinary Clinic Aid. I met some wonderful teachers there at BES, the quality of teaching seemed to be very high. Every teacher I interacted with showed a passion for teaching their students. The girls and boys there were very special. Welcomed me with open arms every day of the week. I was a northerner, in a southern setting, all new to me, working with the children at BES. I loved my job there. Brusy Elementary offers an atmosphere that is friendly and safe. A good school with great teachers. I work now at a local school here where I live doing drug and alcohol awareness. I tell all my associates about my time spent at Brusly Elementary School. Read less

Brusly Elementary is a wonderful school. Parents are very active and welcomed by the principal and faculty. We have been able to work together to provide many enrichment activities for the students that might not have otherwise been successful or even possible without the support of parent volunteers.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
