BCPS is the best thing that ever happened to me. You don't know how good a school is until you have a child with special needs. My son had a stroke @ birth. He has seizures and ADHD. BCPS provided him w/ an personal aide to stay w/ him at all times. They provide him with OT, PT, Speech and a special

I love the fact that they cannot talk in the caferteria. This way I know, if my child is choking on something, a teacher will be able to hear him choking. I also know my child is eating his food and not playing. Recess time and after school time is for playing. Read less

I feel BCP is extremely strict! I agree with dicipline but when are the kids allowed to release that built up energy? No talking during lunch, no running during walk and talk? What is walk and talk? Also I totally agree that we should all have our children to school on time but there are situations that we cannot control and being a single parent I do not have anyone else to rely on but myself. What I do not agree with is 3day detention for a 1st grader for being late. Personally I should have to do the detention not the child. Read less

My child attends BCP and I think that is way to strict. They are not allowed to speak at all during lunch, their not allowed to run or play for recess, during P.E. they don't include sports or play.
