I am currently enrolled at St. Michael's. The administration is abnormally strict. The teachers are inadequate and not challenging. The football team gets all the money from funds while other activity's such as band, drama, and other sports suffer due to this. I strongly advise you not to go to this

I presently have a son who is a freshman attending St. Michael. He takes honors classes and finds most of them challenging and exciting. I also had sons who previously attended the school when it was named Bishop Sullivan. I can assure you, this is not the same school. The extracurricular activities

As a former student of Bishop Sullivan I feel as though this wasn't the best school to choose. The teachers did not challenge their students the least bit and I felt as though I was not being prepared for real life, the students are still 'babied' as they were in middle school. Bishop Sullivan High School is a solid, well-rounded school with a majority of instructors showing a heartfelt concern for the students. My son is currently a sophmore and is in several honors classes. His teachers push his to think outside his normal boundaries. I highly recommend BSHS to anyone

As a former student I would advise parents to pick another private school or save their money and go public. The academic program at Bishop Sullivan was subpar at best. I took all of the honors courses and did not find them challenging in the least. The science and math programs are extremely weak. The
... Read more social science courses consisted of being baby sat by coaches. The school was not designed for bright students. If your child is the least bit intelligent please do not send them to this school. They will be bored and it will not prepare them adequately for college. Read less

Bshs has been an excellent school for my daughter.We moved here from out of state. She had several high school credits before her freshman year.Bshs challenged her with honor courses and she is excelling. It is a small school,so it feels like family.It is coed,like life and i feel that it's important.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Before/After School
"Extended day" programs where the school day is extended before and after school to accommodate working parents. These programs should not be confused with common after school clubs or athletic activities.

Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.
Special Education Classes
A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
