Read what parents are saying about Minter Bridge Elementary SchoolI absolutely love this dial immersion school! Teachers at different levels have varying dialects from Peru to Puerto Rico! Exceeds state standards these teachers know what they are doing. The only issue is the parents, some of them think know more about education than teachers, so they put down the school or educators when something doesn't go their way. The PTA puts on fabulous events and is very inviting to involve others. There is a Facebook page that parents can ask questions and get involved. My 2 children have been very happy made great friends and felt very safe over the last 6 years. You really can't get better public education, the school does their best to enrich every child's learning in 2 languages and bilingual by the time they leave minter bridge. Love love love this school!
Posted by a parent on 7/31/2015This a soso school in my opinion. The dual-language is good, the writing skill is good, but they have a huge problem with teaching math and science. Students have a big hole in their math knowledge. It's not uncommon that a 6th grade students there can't even do a 2nd grade level math. Crazy!
Posted by a parent on 11/22/2014This school is great! The PTA does a Daddy/Daughter dance every year. If my daughter needs extra time or help with an assessment her teacher makes sure she gets it.
Posted by a parent on 6/12/2014Kids do not get the attention needed here. There is very poor communication with parents about their child's progress or any issues they may be having in school. The passion we as parents would like to see in teachers is nearly absent in the staff at this school. What we as parents, I believe, want in a school is an environment that encourages our children to learn and catches those that are not learning so that they can be given the skills needed for success. Unfortunately, Minter Bridge is not fostering a rich learning environment for all kids and allowing many kids to pass through the grades without learning basic concepts and skills needed for success in future grades. As for the PTA, they seem to be selective in their communication with non-PTA parents. Favoritism also seems prevalent among PTA members in the classroom volunteer opportunities.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been so pleased with our experience at St. Matthew Catholic School both academically and socially. Our son has attended St. Matthew since Preschool. The smaller class size and great teachers have ensured that his academics are above grade level, even through the pandemic. The school's commitment to Christian Morals has mean that he and his fellow students are encouraged to treat each other with respect.Parent Review1mo ago
