I have read the other reviews on this school & concur that the majority is correct! This is absolutely the worst public school by far. The teachers are more concerned about enforcing petty rules (ie) uniform code than they are about education. They dont reflect positive leadership towards the students.

Horrible--the principal avoids any and all parent phone calls, etc. The students are allowed to absolutely run wild and speak in horrid language to any and all adults that enter this building!

Bullitt Lick Middle School is a hidden gem in the midst of Bullitt County. Past reputation due to former administration and student population have left many people with a false stereotype of the school. We moved to Bullitt County so our son could attend Bullitt Lick Middle School. They have many

Despite all of these negatives against them, the new administration, teachers, and staff have done a wonderful job of fighting past negative attitudes. I see Bullitt Lick Middle School becoming one of the premier schools not only in Bullitt County, but in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. I sincerely hope they keep up the great work and stay strong to their high expectations of the students. Read less

I think that this school absolutely has to work on the way that they treat their students. After all, they are the reason you are there and they feel like they are not treated fairly.

With the redistricting that took place, my son was not able to return to Bullitt Lick. After 2 years of going there, my straight A student was now a straight C and one F student. We have gone so far as to move to be in that school district for him to finish out his 8th grade. We love the school. I

I am not a very happy parent. At Bullitt Lick the teachers are more concerned about dress code than they are about teaching the kids. Also if your going to have a dress code than enforce it to everyone not just a few people. The kids are not treated equally!

* In 2007-2008 Kentucky used the Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT) to assess students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 through 12 in several subjects. The Elementary School results displayed on GreatSchools profiles are for grades 3 through 5 combined for each subject. Middle School results are for grades 6 though 8 combined, and High School results are for grades 10 though 12 combined. The results reflect the performance of students enrolled for at least 100 days before testing. The KCCT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Kentucky. KCCT academic indices range between 0 and 140, with 100 as the statewide goal for all students.
