I love this school. My son has thrived here. He has learned so much and he enjoys going. I find the principal and staff to be very friendly and approachable. The thought of uniforms at first was a bit icky, however wearing uniforms puts everyone on the same level. Kids from lower income homes don't have ...  Read more

I think Woodland E.S. is an excellent school. I am a parent of 3 Woodland children and my experience has been nothing but positive. The faculty is second to none and are of a professional caliber. At first I wasn't thrilled about the uniforms but then I realized I was focusing more on name brands than ...  Read more

My children went to Woodland. Uniforms are great! I have found that issues with the uniforms are generally parents who are not focussing on academics themselves and complain about everything. I found the administration open and the teachers truly caring. They were always willing to take extra time ...  Read more

Woodland was not my first choice of schools to send my children to,honestly, it would not have been my second or third choice. My oldest son is in kindergarten, the youngest will be enrolled in preschool after he turns 3. Other than the preschool program, which was wonderful to my older child, I find ...  Read more

'Uniforms for our children... what exactly does this accomplish? Do you want your child to be a drone of society or a creative innovator? Stifling any outlet of self expression in our children should be looked upon as a poor choice by our schools systems and our Government. I, for one, abhor the use ...  Read more

This is an excellent school. My child went from reading below grade level to recognizing words 2 grades higher than the present level. The staff is caring and devoted. The principle and vice principle are always visible and accessible. The uniforms eliminate competition over 'fashion' giving more ...  Read more

I can see from the other responses that perhaps it is the parents who failed to recieve the proper education. My child likes the school and so do I. Being in uniform helps the children develop many skills early. The 3rd grade cabbage program is wonderful, we also enjoy the spelling bee and are working ...  Read more

I have six kids. 4 have graduated from high school. one has spent three awful years at woodland. We are moving out of the district so our youngest, who starts school next year will not have to attend this school. If you have a choice, dont send your children here. Teachers are too pushy. principle seems ...  Read more

If I could, I would not send my kids to this school. They are so strict, my God let there be a uniform violation! You know, kids should be allowed to be kids at least for a little while. All day Kindergarden??? Lets see, 4 years old, going from sleeping until 8:00 a.m and having a nap after lunch, ...  Read more
