I think if there was more parent involvement, the overall school appearance would be much better but parents are not involved with the educational process once they hit high school here. I also think if the principal would actually go through the halls there would be a better morale between staff and students. The principal needs to take a harsher stand to get the students to behave appropriately. Unfortunately the school has gone downhill overall and I am disappointed with the lack of communication and discipline of the administration. Read less

I am a current graduate of Moore H.S. (I also attended the Middle School.) The one good thing about Moore is that the students are typically very 'Down to earth.' You don't have to have a lot of money or status to fit in. In the High school, you are expected to act like an adult, but treated much like

My daughter goes to moore. The teachers to me dont try that hard to help her she has ADD. She has a few good teachers. I try to get information by email. I am lucky to get a reply.

My child has gone to this school since the 6th grade and now is in the 8th. I have not been impressed with the teachers attitudes toward the children. I know children are not perfect angels all of the time, but we need to remember children learn by example.

... Read more are only allowed one locker break. The teachers do not credit the students accordingly for their completed assignments. I can't wait to transfer my child from this school. There are numerous fights on the buses and in school daily. There is a police officer on site every day. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
