This is the best school ever! My child loves going here. They have the best teachers available that meet every childs needs. They also have a great library, with 30 updated computers and a printer and copy machine available to all students. They buy new books weekly, my child loves it!!!!

Both of my daughters have attended and graduated from Lafayette and have received an excellent education there. Both are going on to college with a very large portion of their expenses covered by scholarship. Improvements suggested would be a stronger guidance program to help with locating more scholarship ...  Read more

This school is doing so much for me and i love attending this school here. Disipline is resonable and the teachers are respectful as you are to them.

The last great middle class high school. Lafayette has neither very rich nor very poor students, just the broad middle. Great teachers. I wasn't so sure about the principals, they seemed shaky. Kids aren't allowed to stay late after school. I had to pick my son up after school at 5:30 and found him sitting outside in the middle of winter because the assistant principal told him he couldn't wait inside. * In 2007-2008 Kentucky used the Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT) to assess students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 through 12 in several subjects. The Elementary School results displayed on GreatSchools profiles are for grades 3 through 5 combined for each subject. Middle School results are for grades 6 though 8 combined, and High School results are for grades 10 though 12 combined.
