I am so blessed to have been a part of the St. John School community for the past 11 years. I have 3 children who have been students here. They are well rounded, spiritual, bright children and we owe a lot of this to the dedicated faculty at St. John School. The school now has a 3 year old program
... Read more and it goes through grade 8. Our girls have been on the basketball team for many years and the boys team won the Lexington Parochial League Championship last year. St. John's is a small school with a great family-like feel. The class sizes are small and the teachers really try to help students independently. We have music, art, technology, PE, Jr. Beta Club, KUNA, First at Math, Knitting, and an extended day program. We go to mass every Tuesday. The students do monthly service projects. My children have attended St. John's for the past 5 years, and we love it. They have grown spirituallya and academically and are treated with the utmost care and respect. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School

Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
