We are very disappointed with this Oldham county school - we had read such great things about the district but this school lacks so many programs and the teaching level is very low. The children are not challenged or motivated to do well. We will be looking for a new school next year.

We are very happy with Crestwood Elementary! Both of my children are receiving excellent instruction and have many opportunities to excel!

There is not enough extra curricular activities at this school. The children will have a disadvantage to the children attending the other elementary schools when they move on to middle school. Principal needs to be more open minded concerning changes that need to be made for the better of the school.

There seems to be a low sense of 'morale' among teachers. Also, discipline seems weak throughout. Principal was found to be cooperative with parents.

Crestwood Elementary School
Oldham County School District
Kentucky
* In 2007-2008 Kentucky used the Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT) to assess students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 through 12 in several subjects. The Elementary School results displayed on GreatSchools profiles are for grades 3 through 5 combined for each subject. Middle School results are for grades 6 though 8 combined, and High School results are for grades 10 though 12 combined. The results reflect the performance of students enrolled for at least 100 days before testing. The KCCT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Kentucky. KCCT academic indices range between 0 and 140, with 100 as the statewide goal for all students.
