The teachers and students seem to be divided into two categories. There are those who care and those who don't. Those who care teach AP courses and take AP courses. Those who don't are in the remaining courses. If your child is in the average courses, I think they are in a much more difficult learning ...  Read more

I transferred to Oldham in 9th grade and I have to say this school is the best I've been to. Most teachers are great at what they do, they care, and they help you set high goals for yourself. There's not a lot of drama unless you make it for yourself. They have a wide range of extra curricular activities. ...  Read more

I believe that oldham county schools are highly over rated. Students dont do any work while in school and do all the work outside school. This school has no respect for extra curricular activites. Go south.

I would give the school 2 Stars. I believe the students are not challenged unless you are in a AP class. My daughter brings home little or no homework - she needs very little study time to pull an A. The guidance staff are stretched beyond there daily capacity, having little time with the students to ...  Read more

This school is ok in the media's eyes, but once you get there it's a different story. Lot's of drama, and fights, more than usual. But i guess it's just who you hang out with that influences your years there. Oh, and most of the teachers are nice and good at teaching, but there are a select few that ...  Read more

OCHS is by far one of the best schools in the area. I have only taught at OCHS for 1 year, but I have come to feel at home and accepted by the students, parents and administration. The school has a wonderfully involved student body and most of the students are extremely bright, helpful and respectful. ...  Read more

This school was good 15 years ago when I went. I came back to bring let my kids come to the same great school I did. I am dissapointed. It is no where near the same caliber school it was then. Every class teaches the same thing. No matter what. They teach you what is going to be on the standarized ...  Read more

OCHS is by far the greatest school within the county. I have 3 children. The oldest & middle child attended another school in the county. I felt their presence was just another stat. My youngest attends OCHS & I truly believe the teachers and staff are there to make a difference. Their contribution ...  Read more

This school is tops in the state in all areas. I have to say it is the premier school in the area, and should be praised for its achievements.
