I think MCHS is a great school, I am currently a student there. There are some frustrations though. Like, we do not have enough books for everyone. I think Marshall County is a wonderful school. I am a student who went there and moved out of state and compared to the school i am at now MCHS is wonderful. This school has the support of the community, and as such there is a high level of involvement by parents and family. I think that Marshall County High School has a very poorly trained staff and does not grade the students fairly on the grades that they make.

* In 2007-2008 Kentucky used the Kentucky Core Content Tests (KCCT) to assess students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 through 12 in several subjects. The Elementary School results displayed on GreatSchools profiles are for grades 3 through 5 combined for each subject. Middle School results are for grades 6 though 8 combined, and High School results are for grades 10 though 12 combined. KCCT academic indices range between 0 and 140, with 100 as the statewide goal for all students.
