Tyro is an ok school. I question the christianity of some of the teachers. Parent teacher communication is not the best especially if you are questioning a teachers actions.

Tyro Community Christian School is the best possible school in the area. My child excels academically and spiritually. A true A+ in all of these areas: Quality of academic programs. Availability of music, art, sports and other extracurricular activities. Level of parent involvement. This is a very successful great School and If We were still in the area my Kids would be going there.

As a former Tyro student, and a current Chemical Engineering student, I believe that Tyro's Math and Science curriculum needs help. The school should encourage more students to take Algebra and Chemistry or Physics from CCC as seniors in order to counsel more students who are interested in going into ...  Read more

I graduated from Tyro in 2002. Now I'm getting ready to start medical school at KCUMB this fall. The teachers are very dedicated and concerned with their students. I would say the faculty is what makes Tyro so great.
