As a student, I felt I had no voice. I understand that I am younger and there are rules and policies that have to be followed etc. but I also felt that even while showing the most respect to the administrators they still neglected to listen to student concerns. Overall it is a good school. It is possible to start a class and start over [my own daughter did it] , and it is impossible to do all your homework on the bus ride home, unless you have a long bus ride. There are plenty of opportunities to be challenged; why else would they offer ACP class [that go

Mediocrity is the keyword here. The students are not challenged. My son is able to do his homework on the busride home yet still gets top grades. It's pathetic. While previously in Catholic school, he would spend two hours each night and could barely keep up. The students leaving Westfield will

Administrators will say the trimester is great but I disagree. Summer school should still be an option. The school is very inflexible. If a student wants to change or drop a class, they can't. They would rather have a student do poorly. The school is limited with it's extra curricular offerings. Forensics(debate)

School is inconsistent on their policies. The school is clicky to the point that it matters who you know and what you do for after school activities. Westfield is growing to quickly for it to be so closed minded to growth and diversity. I believe the lower schools are wonderful but the high school

* In 2008-2009 Indiana used the Indiana Statewide Testing for Educational Progress-Plus (ISTEP+) assessment to test students in grades 3 through 10 in English/language arts and math, and in grades 5 and 7 in science. The ISTEP+ is a standards-based test, which means it measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Indiana. High school students are required to pass the grade 10 ISTEP+ to receive a high school diploma. The goal is for all students to score at the passing level on the test.
