I am currently a student at Dekalb High School. I think the teachers here are pretty good. I have learned a lot these last couple of years. Recently I learned that we are not allowed to have holes in our jeans this year. Normally I wouldn't have a problem with this rule. The only thing that upsets me

Most of the jeans at stores already have holes in them and so it is annoying that we can no longer wear the new jeans we bought to school. This is not a big deal though, I just wish students, like me, could know about changing rules ahead of time. Overall, I think DeKalb has a good learning environment and I am happy to be a student of DeKalb High School! Read less

I was a student at DeKalb myself and now I have three high school students. Dekalb is a good school. I have had the opportunity to see other schools, their curriculums, their student products, and to see how their students perform at a college level. DeKalb stacks up well to other schools. I feel

I wish people would understand that teachers are pretty similar in any school system. Sure there are differences in all educators, but from my experience they always followed the guidelines set in front of them as well as met standards. I had many teachers who cared and were devoted to my education,
