We are a new family to the area and have only been at Simatovich for a short time. That said I can only praise how the school staff has made us feel welcome here. ... Read more people knew we were coming and knew their students and parents well enough to know we were new on sight! The teachers and office staff are so warm and interested in knowing my children and making us feel welcome and at home. I love the look and feel of the school and feel comfortable leaving my children in the care of these people daily. What beeter accolade can I give then thet? JSE is the most caring and nurturing school I have ever been associated with. From the principal to the custodian, the staff is genuinely interested in every child. I agree that JSE needs to make major changes. The changes needs to occur in the office first. JSE lost a lot when the kindergarten left-My child her and we lovesd her. Luckily, my son has had more great teachers. Hopefully, the changes will happen soon, so JSE won't lose more great teachers.

I currently have a child at JOSE in kindergarten. The year started off great he had a wonderful teacher. Thinking on chosing our school or township? Well if you are you shouldn't be thinking, you should do it. Simatovich is a 4 star school with a postive additude with there children and themselves. My son is a student and he wakes up before me ready to go to school. That is great and makes me very thrilled
... Read more to have my son here at Simatovich. All the teachers are great and they are always there for the children and you at any time. I would not want my child to go to any other elementry school after being here. Simatovich is a strong school and also has a big heart welcoming your children and your self. My daughter will be in 4th grade next year at JSE. Her K-3 teachers were all oustanding. They each made her feel loved and supported her immensely during her time in their classes. She is a straight A student and though we are active in her education, the teachers and staff have had a tremendous effect
... Read more in her grades and attitude. She loves JSE and we are happy to have her there. The principal, though quality I'm sure, could do a lot to improve her image with the students and parents, but the staff supports her and the school runs very well. Read less

Hi my son is going to be going into 2nd grade here at jse and he has learned so much. jse is a strong school that can deal with almost anything they are more a big family then a school everyone tries to help out another in need. teachers are always there for these students and so is the princible. they
... Read more do not like having any parties because they say it enterferes with their education. they do have themes though winter spring summer and fall. I am 100% happy with jse and so is my little man. they do have things like feild day and fun fair I do wish they could have more field trips to educate the children on outside life. if you plan on sending your child here and wonder what kind of kids and teachers are they are a 4 star school and waiting. Advanced Placement
