Coming from a teenager (and who was NOT happy about changing schools) I was thrilled! The school is among the very top in ISTEP scores also. Their extra curricular/sports program is growing every year. It is not a state funded school, it relies on donations and parent support so it takes a little longer. We have been a part of Christian Academy for six years (PS-5) and have enjoyed working with wonderful teachers and talented administrators. The new campus has so much to offer including expanded athletics, music depts. and two libraries. My elementary students have been able to join extracurricular activities

First I just want to say that this school is great as far as the level of parent involvement. As far as preschool,however, I would not recommend it. They have little patience with extremely shy children and the PreK principle is very condescending when talking to parents. Christian Academy only offers

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School
"Extended day" programs where the school day is extended before and after school to accommodate working parents. These programs should not be confused with common after school clubs or athletic activities.

Vocation/Technical Curriculum
Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.
Special Education Classes
A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
