For the students who want to learn and get an education, it's the school to succeed.

Our school is known for its excellent football teams over the years and excellent indivuals that participated in track. Not to mention the fact that a two time world olympic medalist, David Neville, graduated from Merrillville. Even though Merrillville high school is a great place to recieve education there can be problems with the administration staff. The administration seems to be 'gung-ho' about all the wrong things. Not exactly my ideal school. Some classes I felt were a waste just for the fact that the teachers were not doing a good enough job.
