PMHS needs much improvement in the area of quality teachers. There has been extremely poor efforts of the teachers to communicate with the parents. The ISTEP+ is a standards-based test, which means it measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Indiana. High school students are required to pass the grade 10 ISTEP+ to receive a high school diploma. The goal is for all students to score at the passing level on the test.
