I can't seem to understand why a parent is not informed about their child's academic or behavior progress at NAPAN. ePIKE is available to all parents to track their students progress daily. You can see your child's attendance/tardies, grades, lunch account, GPA, etc... Each teacher has the homework

My daughters have gone to both NAPA South & North, the teaching staff at each are outstanding. The teachers not only educate the kids in academics but they also learn how to be citizens in this world. I do agree with another parent that at North the kids are given an excessive amount of homework though.

New Augusta has the potential to be a great school, but it is currently lacking. Many of its staff assign excessive amounts of homework to a student population, that at age 11-14, is ill-equipped to effectively handle such a rigorous, daily load. Consequently, many New Augusta parents spend a great

* In 2008-2009 Indiana used the Indiana Statewide Testing for Educational Progress-Plus (ISTEP+) assessment to test students in grades 3 through 10 in English/language arts and math, and in grades 5 and 7 in science. The ISTEP+ is a standards-based test, which means it measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Indiana. High school students are required to pass the grade 10 ISTEP+ to receive a high school diploma. The goal is for all students to score at the passing level on the test.
