The Griffith school system is a total joke. I do nt even know where to begin. The super. is horrible, you have to go through a pack of bulldogs just to talk to untouchable Morekis spellings probably wrong but who cares. The whole office staff is a joke. this is NOT a good school. I am a student there and i hate it. We have atleast 5 or more cops patrolling the school. There are many fights and now we have a racial war going on. when my oldest daughter was there it was excellent, she grad 2001. the principal was reasonable, the Music and Theater departments well well attended and supported, football was secondary. she was president of Pantherettes the very first year they went to State and won it. after making up all of their ...  Read more

I graduated from Griffith and the years I spent there are years I would rather forget. I saw the introduction of Police officers patrolling the hallways like that really was going to stop fighting. This school lacks caring. They do not get to know the students in a personal way. The curriculum is watered down. I think there are a few problems at this school. Having cops in the school makes me nervous. Kids need a solid education and some of the teachers, this is the most important thing.
