I grew up at Concordia and now my three children are attending and we love it. The teachers are supportive and do what they need to do make your child successful. The education is Christ centered and geared in a way to help build their faith. The school is well worth the cost.

Both my son and daughter attended Concordia Elementary and Concordia High School. Between High School graduation and their 21st birthdays both of my children came to me and thanked me for their Christian education. Both children realized that they had a better education than their public school friends.

This is a great school. We have children in 8th and 4th. Our oldest attended public school and there is no comparison. If a Christ-centered education is important to you this is an exceptional choice!

The academic program is great. At times I think to much is expected of the students. I know that sounds odd but in the upper grades the expectation to perform at a high school level gets a bit out of control. The teachers are well trained and caring. ... Read more grad 4-8. Academic,(the few there are) such as spelling bee, math science, ect do not seem to be open but hand picked opertuities. Music program is outstanding! Art is great! PE varied and interesting.Lots of parent involvement. Overall it is a good school nothing is perfect. Prinipal tough to talk to about problems he does not agree about. Hard to have him see anything from your view if he does not want to. But don't let that turn you away from a great school! Read less

We use technology extensively. Our students are well prepared for the rigors of high school and life. We provide parents on-line access to their child's grades and many tools to enhance communication between school and home. We believe that research indicates that parents being involved in a child's school is a great benefit to the student. We do expect families to be involved and to communicate. Our supporting congregation provides approximately 40% of the funding to operate this school. The balance is from tuition, fees and fund-raising. Concordia is fully accredited by Indiana and National Lutheran School Accreditation. It has been named an exemplary school by the state of Indiana in both 2006 and 2007. Read less

This is a great school if you live in the 1940's. Academically, the school tests well, but there are no programs for gifted or delayed students. The church and school seem to expect families to have two parents, one who makes lots of money, and one who volunteers at the school a lot. We found both

Relational Aggression and Bullying are not addressed by the school. Our family found Concordia's lack of a security system to be extremely impractical and worrisome. Read less

As a former student of this high school, I felt academically prepared for higher education. The majority of the staff was caring and helpful. Many teachers would go out of their way to help students succeed, not only in school, but also in life. However, there were also a few teachers who were disappointing

In general, parents should feel comfortable sending their children to this school, as long as they realize that the students overall behavior here is no different than that at public schools. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Before/After School

Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
