I graduated from CHS in 2007. I thought that i couldn't ask for a better school. There is an extreme amount of school spirit, games are great to go to. The teachers are more than willing to do everything they can to help achieve your best.

central high school is a good school no matter what middle you came from they dont treat the kids from thompkins different from the kids from harwood, central treats you the central way and that's an good way if you wanted to find a great high school for your kids check out central im a junior at central ...  Read more

I got to Central High School and it has its prosd and cons. Central pulls from two middle schools which are Harwood and Thompkins. Harwood's school district is from downtown to Buena Vista Road which is a rough area of town and Thompkins pulls from Buena Vista road to the Vanderburgh/Gibson County line ...  Read more

This, is a very good quality school. Where your child, can recieve a quality education, it is for grades (9-12).

* In 2008-2009 Indiana used the Indiana Statewide Testing for Educational Progress-Plus (ISTEP+) assessment to test students in grades 3 through 10 in English/language arts and math, and in grades 5 and 7 in science. The ISTEP+ is a standards-based test, which means it measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Indiana. High school students are required to pass the grade 10 ISTEP+ to receive a high school diploma. The goal is for all students to score at the passing level on the test.
