Culver turned my life around. I lived in an impoverished area of rural North Carolina with not much future despite being musically and academically talented. Being introduced to Culver and its high standards for education, athletics and discipline have made me appreciate what the world has to offer.

Great school with excellent curriculum, faculty, staff and leadership. All three of my children went there and I couldn't be happier. Besides the academic curriculum the students are involved in many activities including a multitude of sports. The moral leadership and standard administered through

I had never thought of sending my daughter to a boarding school and was apprehensive, but Culver is excellent and now I feel very glad she won a scholarship to go there. They take care of her well and provide an excellent education. I truly feel my daughter will be ready for the top levels of college,

This school is an excellent, safe environment for high school students. The quality of the teaching staff is so high that the students are compelled to learn and achieve their best. The headmaster, John Buxton along with his wife Pam are omni-present and involved daily in the lives of the students

The parent participation and alumni support continues to enrich the overall experience of the students ranging from small gatherings of students for dinners to funding of major expansions on campus, such as the new tennis facility. I have two girls, one who graduated in 2006 and one who is a CGA junior this year. they both applaud the academic as well as the social experiences of Culver. A family tradition has started because of Culver in that the importance of education has now shifted to our daughters and they now speak of someday sending their children here. Read less

Headmaster is a visionary, teachers are tremendous, Culver is an experience not to be missed with a network that will help students them through life. ... Read more at a sport and still have success there. As a mom sending your kids away is scary but Culver makes it Worth While. The kids watch out for each other and really run the school. The Military part for my son has been priceless with decorated leaders to guide them and new challenges everyday I can only hope to work as hard as he does and I know that the success he has already achieved as a new cadet will last a lifetime. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Vocation/Technical Curriculum
Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.
Special Education Classes
A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
