My oldest child and I went to the same small private school and I was pleased, so when we moved to Carmel Schools, I was extremely worried. I could not be happier! I could not be happier with CHS. Read less

As a parent of 2 students at Carmel High I can honestly say if I had it to do over again I would have never sent them to this school. * In 2008-2009 Indiana used the Indiana Statewide Testing for Educational Progress-Plus (ISTEP+) assessment to test students in grades 3 through 10 in English/language arts and math, and in grades 5 and 7 in science. The ISTEP+ is a standards-based test, which means it measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Indiana. High school students are required to pass the grade 10 ISTEP+ to receive a high school diploma. The goal is for all students to score at the passing level on the test.
