Read what parents are saying about St. Clement SchoolWe became involved in the parish in 2021 when we moved to the neighborhood and my son started in the full time PK-3 program in the Fall of 2022. Leading up to his enrollment, everyone talked about how wonderful the community was and every parent I spoke to only had incredible things to say about the school. It was all true! The staff, teachers, parents, and parish could not be more welcoming or kind. The PK 3 and 4 teachers have been wonderful, and our son has blossomed and started showing leadership skills / accountability from various classroom activities like weekly “jobs” (greeter, weather patrol, line leader, etc.). We love the anchor buddy program and the cross-grade exposure it creates. We are extremely lucky to be part of such a special school and look forward to sending our youngest there in the Fall. I am proud to be a Saint Clement parent.
Posted by a parent on 3/28/2024St. Clement Catholic School has been a tremendous blessing for my 5th and 7th graders over the past three years. From the very beginning, we felt welcomed into this amazing community. One of the standout aspects of St. Clement's is undoubtedly its incredible community. The sense of togetherness and support within this school is second to none. From the faculty and staff to the parents and fellow students, it truly feels like a family. Being new to Chicago as well as the school, this welcoming atmosphere made the transition into this school seamless for my children, and it has fostered a sense of belonging that is invaluable to their educational journey. One recent highlight that we absolutely love about St. Clement's is the addition of new academic clubs. These clubs provide students with a wide variety of opportunities to explore their passions and interests. These clubs have allowed my 7th grader to further develop his entrepreneurial skills and knowledge beyond the regular curriculum. Not only are these clubs educational, but they also serve as platforms for students to socialize and collaborate with their peers who share similar interests.Another noteworthy aspect of St. Clement's is the great class sizes. With an ideal teacher-to-student ratio, every child receives the individualized attention they need to thrive academically. This personalized approach ensures that no student gets left behind and that each child's unique strengths and weaknesses are addressed effectively. The teachers at St. Clement's truly go above and beyond to ensure that every student is given the support they need to succeed.Overall, our experience at St. Clement Catholic School has been exceptional. It is a place where educational excellence meets genuine care and belonging. We feel incredibly grateful to be a part of this remarkable school and highly recommend it to any parents seeking a school that prioritizes both academic growth and personal development.
Posted by a parent on 11/2/2023This is our first year at St. Clement in Pre-K 4 and it has been an incredible experience for our son and our entire family. The teachers have consistently gone above and beyond for the students, and we are so happy with the academic and social growth our son has experienced this year. We have also been very impressed with the school's leadership, the organization and communication throughout the year, and the way the school lives out its values every day. And the families across all grades have been so welcoming! We are proud to be part of this community!
Posted by a community member on 6/10/2023I am an alumni parent of St. Clement School and my daughter is about to graduate from Saint Ignatius College Prep. I can't say enough good things about how prepared she was for this academically rigorous high school. She was confident and extremely comfortable with public speaking, doing research and writing papers from the start, all due to the preparation she received in middle school at St. Clement. The academics are top notch, but that isn't even the best part of this school. The community of school parents, teachers and parishioners is extremely warm and welcoming. My daughter always felt safe, loved and seen. Being a part of the St. Clement community makes a very big city seem small. I enthusiastically recommend this amazing school!
Posted by a community member on 4/24/2023This is our first year at Saint Clement and we are thrilled to be here. From our first interaction with our Welcome Family (who have kids the same ages as our own kids), we knew we had made the right decision. The community is supportive and engaging, the teachers love our children (and recommend enhancements when applicable!), and the other parents are unbelievably welcoming.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’ve been going to Tubman Elementary for about 9 years and I am now in eighth grade here the school has its ups and downs but one of the many things I’d like to address is the special education and bullying 1. special education the special education for students who don’t really understand the curriculum of a class they are in can sometimes be only helpful for students who ask for the help but like me i feel stupid and dumb to ask for help from teachers or my friends and nobody comes check up on me at all which i think we as a school can improve so students can feel safe asking for help.2. bullying/harassmentthis will not be in every classroom but we had a student in our class who thought it was funny to harass the women and sometimes the males there and the teachers did absolutely nothing but take them outside to sit and tell us to not defend ourselves at all which i think is absolutely insane but i do get it tahts it because we don’t get in trouble as well but i think they could definitely do more then take them outside to take and allow them to stay in the classes of students they’re harassing. that is all, sincerely, an eight grader.Student Review9mo ago - Alcott College Prep

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe selected Alcott specifically for the diverse learner program and our all of our expectations have been greatly exceeded. The support teachers, school psychologist and speech pathologist are top notch and have helped our son thrive. In addition, our daughter who does not require additional supports, has felt challenged and engaged and is also thriving. There is an amazing community of teachers and families who support the school. The principal is an effective leader and is thoughtful and kind while still creating high standards for the entire school. The school clerk and security guard make all feel welcome and safe. We absolutely love Alcott and the entire community.Parent Review5mo ago - Mayer Elementary School

Lots of communication between teachers and parents in regards to classroom activities and what’s being studied on the classroom. N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAACA is an amazing school and I feel so lucky to have it in our community and have our boys attend. The principal, teachers and staff are amazing and go above and beyond. The academic preparedness and focus on the whole child is exceptional and is supported by two full-time counselors. There are so many ways for kids to be involved outside of school whether it's sports, musical, band, choir, set-design to name just a few. I can't think of a better school for our three boys.Parent Review5mo ago
