I believe the school offers a lot of technology programs for the students. The teachers appear to care for the students. The administration needs to be a little more organized. I love this school, and I'm glad my child is attending ZBTHS.

The school with in a school program of the technology academy offers students a college prep education with a technology background. Students in this program has achieved at higher standards than teh regular College Prep pathway. The greater advantage is the unitlization of the laptop computer. Each

Homework and projects are conducted with the use of these programs. Examples: Freshman classes are developing web pages, power point presentations, excelling in keyboarding skills. ZBTHS is an excellent school with a Pathway for everyone from the Learning Disabled to the Advanced Placement student. Those who attend can make as much of high school as they choose. Some choose not to take advantage of the large selection of classes and the diverse student population. Those who

Other school have used Z-B as a model for several of their programs. And this school has more school pride than any in Lake County. My kids got a great education there because they took responsibilty for themselves and got great skills for college & life. Read less

I love this school. I would never send my child to another school. My child learned how to get by in the real world in the technolgy academy. The technology academy is something that i would recomend my friends to get their children involved in. The school has taught my child how to make it in the world

I can not believe that I sent my child to this school last year. He will not be attending here any more! The teachers and administation do as little as they can to get by. They don't care about the students. My child was allowed to do things like charge up an account and they refused to inform me
... Read more until the child didn't pay. Then I got a bill. When questioned, the school told me they are charging the child not the parents. I politely explained who was really responsible for the bill (the parents when the child defaulted) and the administation hung up on me. This was just one of the many problems with this school. If you like terribly ran schools filled with children that the parents don't spend any time with, and you wish your child be bullied, then this is the school for you!! Absoulutly awful!!!!! Read less

It is my opinion that this is one of the poorest quality schools in this northern IL area. The teachers are not concerned about the students' education. While there may be a couple sincere teachers, there are not enough to make a difference. Unorganized management staff. Poor curriculum. Definitely

Advanced Placement
