St.Joe's is a great school. People who don't like it has not been in it. The teachers are great and they are always there to help you. With the laptops, yes us students do find games, but a day later, the administration blocks it, it makes me then pay more attention during class. St. Joes is rich in

St. Joseph has good, innovative ideas, but they seem to lack the leadership and initiative to follow up on many of their plans. Most teachers are excellent, however many of them leave after only a few years. A decent portion of the faculty seem to be oblivious to the problems that exist, another portion

St. Joseph High School has made a lot of changes within the last few years. Although change can be good, the quality of the school is plumeting to an all time low. So far, High School has been a bad experience. Students are getting away with harming one another. It's a fact that St. Joe's is not a safe place for a child. That's sad. The Principal and faculty better get a grip. All these changes mean that the staff better be ready and capable of handling the children when they are in their care. Read less

St. Joe's is not what it used to be. During my first 2 years (2002-2004), the focus was on Academics, Leadership, and Achievement. In Fall 2004, the laptops took over, and Academics went to the back-burner so to speak. There are many schools that have integrated the laptops into academics, but the

Students, including those in my graduating class, used the laptops for e-mail, games, music downloading, and instant messaging. Teachers didn't discipline students or forbade use of laptops because Technology Director made laptop use mandatory in many classes. Discipline and dress code enforcement has become very lackluster, and many famous, tenured, and excellent teachers have left due to current administration. When I went to college, I was not prepared for all the writing that was demanded. Writing Curriculum is almost non-existent and no library!!!! Read less

St. Joseph is a school that boasts about its laptop learning program and their ability to create leaders. Unfortunately, while these programs can be very beneficial they are instead leading the students away from academics. Students use the laptops to email one another and talk about the latest gossip,

The leadership program has been a disaster in past years and many students see leadership time as a time to goof off and cause problems. While many teachers have made suggestions for change the administration does not seem to want to adjust to what they have to say. Right now the class sizes are overloaded and the students are not receiving the proper services that they need in order to succeed. Read less

I am sad to say St. Joseph is not what it once was. When I put my first son '97-00 there it was the best school possible.
