I moved to this district hoping that the schools would be better for my children rather than city schools. I was so wrong! My children have been black balled at this school by the students, teachers, and administration for not being the cookie cutter students that they want there. The schools 'mission'
... Read more sounds great but it is nothing like what the school really is. I've raised my kids to be themselves and to be the best at who they are. W-L does not like this. My children have been punished, humiliated and ignored on a daily basis for being nice, not being 'proper Christians', for being academic achievers, not being in school sports and having an opinion. My high school student is going to home school this coming year due to the constant torment. My child's words, 'They treat me as if I'm not a human being'. Enough is enough! Read less

Things have really gone downhill at W-L in the last few years. The leadership is extremely poor, the teachers don't feel supported and the morale from kids and teachers is very poor. Until the leadership changes, I don't see the positive feelings returning. The teachers, at least the ones who have

I just graduated from Warrensburg-Latham this past year, and I must say that my experience there was one of a kind. The school as a whole is a very safe school and I wouldn't worry about my kids attending there, they'll make plenty of friends in no time and keep those relationships for life if you let

Good academic standing. I hope to see more course selections, such as courses in the agricultural related field. W-L has good music program. Both the Concert Band and Choirs have been very successfual within the last two years. The music program is trying bigger and better things this year. The musicals

More strengths are drawn towards the Fine Arts areas. The scholastic bowl team is always very strong. The whole Fine Arts areas or very enriching to each and every student at W-L H.S. This school has a great teaching staff that promotes extracurricular involement. If there are any struggles in this district, I would have to say it is the involvement in the clubs. But, currently, more and more students are getting involved. Read less

I would have to say the least for Warrensburg-Latham High School. The teachers are not very polite, according to several students I have conversed with. As far as the curriculum goes, I have to say the least for the course selections offered to students. It seems as though the school itself is more involved

That should be the first thing that teachers, parents, and students should care about. Of course, when I was in school, my school cared more about academics more than anything, especially the Fine Arts program. It is said that kids are more involved with 'stuff' when they are involved in the arts. Warrensburg-Latham doesn't have this. I wish! But, no. I have friends that have attended Warrensburg. They, too, have said the least. Read less

All of my children have gone to W/L and if I would have known how poorly they were treated when they were there, I would never have moved to the W/L district to begin with. It is true, that if the kids are from average to poor families that they are not treated as well. They are told to buck up while

It is unfortunate that the children are penalized for being an average joe. I have continuously asked for assistance from teachers (a few have obliged), but the interest in the child is never there. The teachers are not professional (screaming and yelling), and I am curious on the curriculum that is being presented. Read less

I was a student at Warrensburg Latham High School. One thing I have to say if you attend WLHS is do not attempt to be different. The faculty and students look down on such a thing. You have to be a wealthy christian to get any acknowledgement there. I was the best at what I did, and not one time

I do agree with the above poster. W-L is very political, and if you are not in the 'right' crowd, you might as well give up! Money rules at W-L, and if you don't have any...u are in big trouble. Academically, the school is above average for the surrounding areas. I feel my children are getting
