My children have been punished, humiliated and ignored on a daily basis for being nice, not being 'proper Christians', for being academic achievers, not being in school sports and having an opinion. I just graduated from Warrensburg-Latham this past year, and I must say that my experience there was one of a kind. The school as a whole is a very safe school and I wouldn't worry about my kids attending there, they'll make plenty of friends in no time and keep those relationships for life if you let

Good academic standing. I hope to see more course selections, such as courses in the agricultural related field. W-L has good music program. ... Read more are always successful. For the school size, W-L has great participation from the students. The athletics are also successful, occassionally. More strengths are drawn towards the Fine Arts areas. The scholastic bowl team is always very strong.The whole Fine Arts areas or very enriching to each and every student at W-L H.S. This school has a great teaching staff that promotes extracurricular involement. If there are any struggles in this district, I would have to say it is the involvement in the clubs. I would have to say the least for Warrensburg-Latham High School. The teachers are not very polite, according to several students I have conversed with. ... Read more with sports than anything. If I had a choice to choose which is more important in the school, I would choose academics. That should be the first thing that teachers, parents, and students should care about. Of course, when I was in school, my school cared more about academics more than anything, especially the Fine Arts program. It is said that kids are more involved with 'stuff' when they are involved in the arts. Warrensburg-Latham doesn't have this. I wish! But, no. I have friends that have attended Warrensburg. It is unfortunate that the children are penalized for being an average joe. I have continuously asked for assistance from teachers (a few have obliged), but the interest in the child is never there. I was a student at Warrensburg Latham High School. One thing I have to say if you attend WLHS is do not attempt to be different. The faculty and students look down on such a thing. You have to be a wealthy christian to get any acknowledgement there. I was the best at what I did, and not one time

They just did not want to help me. Repeatedly I had asked and repeatedly I was told to study more. Advanced Placement
