With Maine South being the 14th best school in all the public schools of Illinois, I'd say this is a pretty good school. I'm proud to be sending my daughter to this school. She's doing great too!

Kids from Maine South have nice cars, trendy clothes and cash, plenty of cash. The Maine South is perhaps one of the best public high schools in the area if you look at the scores. this is a high quality school that could still be improved. teacher quality is uneven. wide variety of extracurricular activities and fairly good selection of AP courses

Wow...What a GREAT school! This school truly is amazing. It scores in the top percentage in the country, has great kids and teachers, has tons of funding, and every after-school program you can think of, and has one of the best football programs in the country.
