This school is fantastic! I transferred my children from a private school and they are flourishing at this school. The school has so much more to offer than the private school. The principal and the staff are great! My only regret about this school is I wish I would have enrolled my children sooner.

Amazing school! Excellent teachers and staff! Awesome principal! My daughter entered into the district half-way through 1st grade and was welcomed into the Arcadia family immediately. She excelled academically and blossomed socially. Now that she's on her way to Indiana, we're a little sad to leave Arcadia

Arcadia is a wonderful school. The school has a great principal who epitimizes dignity and professionalism. The teachers attitudes and actions reflect this leadership. The teachers have a wonderful relationship and work well as a team. Their are several programs for the students to be involved in
... Read more such as student council, choir, scholars and leaders, gifted art, girls on the run, yoga, and afterschool runners of all ages and genders. Their are wonderful displays of student art and writing on the walls. Their is also a artist of the month display which educates students on different types of art. Some of the artist are local which is really exciting. The parent teacher organization provides great funding and subsidization of student activies. It is a great place in which students, teachers and parents connect! Read less

I think that Arcadia has a great academic program. My daughter has been attending this school since Kindergarten and she's doing really great. The teachers are wonderful and very much aware of the needs of the students. Keep up the great work!

... Read more principal and teachers have very high expectations of the students and challenge them to excel. The principal and staff know every child by name and encourage parents to be involved in the school in every way possible. Their holistic approach to education includes entertaining and innovative in-class lessons, and programs like Scholars and Leaders (encourages student leadership and scholarship), Opera for the Young (the children perform), and Readers on the Run (encourages physical fitness and the joy of reading). Arcadia is a model school in every sense of the word. My only complaint is that there aren't more schools like it! Read less

My daughter who is a 1st grader is very happy and has learned a lot inside the classroom. She enjoys the different specials offered such as music,gym, and art. The only problem we have is that my daughter is not getting the extra help she needs. She feels the teacher doesn't want to answer her questions.
... Read more Also, there is a lot of teachers who bad-mouth about the students. As a parent, I don't think that this behavior sets a good example for the children. The children are there to learn and should be able to in a positive and healthy environment. They should not be exposed to such negative comments from the teachers (gossiping about students). I feel that this school is superb. The involvement of the principal is wonderful. She is really interested in 'her children' at the school. My children attended there and they loved her and the what the school had to offer. The teachers are also wonderful...The parent involvement is incredible.

The academic programs are decent. The overall school scores are acceptable and improving. Music, art and gym are unfortunately alternating programs. At the elementary school age gym should be everyday to keep the kids active and healthy. The parents are very involved in the PTO.

Advanced Placement
