I am very grateful that I found HCA for my daughter. In my previous school, teachers were somewhat negative, and didn't offer solutions. From the start, the teachers and principal at Homewood worked with my daughter and helped her to achieve not only academically, but also spiritually. The school

Children are expected to follow the rules, but the teachers lovingly correct them. My only disappointment is that although I have volunteered at the school on several occasions, hardly any other parents volunteer. Few parents are involved. That is the only change I would suggest. I recommend this school to any parent who wants their child to receive a great Christian education. Read less

My daughter has attended HCA since kindergarten, and overall I am very pleased. She has enjoyed her time there. However, when she first attended HCA, the school spirit was at such an all time high, and students were supportive of all grades and each other no matter what. I watched that spirit being

I think it really is a great school with a wonderful Christian environment. I agree with the parent who wrote about the K-4 program, but I think this year (2004-2005) is a lot better academically. Ms Swartwood & Mrs Alexander are great teachers - the children love them. However, the parents should

Ms Swartwood and Mrs Alexander are always open to hear comments and work with the parents to help educate our children. As far as the emphasis on Christ and the Bible...I love it. That's the whole purpose of choosing a Christian school over any other type of school. I want my children to know Christ first...everything else will fall in place. Matthew 6:33 Read less

My child attended this school during the 2003-04 school year. The Pre-K program. The progam was brand new this year and it took the school a while to work out the problems.
