As a French exchange student in 2004/05, I have appreciated the classes and teachers I had at Metro-East Lutheran High School. I was welcomed in the best conditions by all the staff and students. This experience would not have been the same in any other High School.

I have sent two children to MELHS. I love the school and the Christ oriented message they get on a daily basis. It has been a wonderful experience for our family. Lutheran High left me with some of the greatest days of my life. Sure the hallways may seem small, but it is hardly a reason for the students to get tardies. I believe that MELHS is a great fit for my son. I think it is a great alternative to his other option which would have been Edwardsville High School which is busting at at the seams with 2300 kids. MELHS is oriented toward College Prep. Many of the academic areas offer Honors level course work in order to provide a challenging curriculum for all students.
