Great school. Excellent teachers! Gospel based eduation teaches students to treat others as they would like to be treated. Academics are strong and children do well in high school recently produced three area high school valedictorians.

Save your money and give your children the eduaction they deserve - send them to the excellent public schools. I wish I could say something nice about this school but declining enrollment and dismal staff say it all.

... Read more good value. Test score results are at least as good as and in many cases better than those in the local public schools. The school is directed by a highly competent and experienced Ph.D.'d professional administrator. If developing a conscientious, thoughtful, intelligent future good citizen is a priority, then Holy Cross is an excellent alternative to consider. Read less

I have sent two children to Holy Cross and have been very satisifed although the last several years have brought about several new principal changes and this year in particular, several of the more established teachers are leaving/retiring. ... Read more left and although great strides were taken in advertising, enrollment continues to slowly decline. Parental involvement has always been very good, although it tends to be quite 'clique-like'. Tuition costs are the rise, but this is standard in the private school realm. To obtain the 'standard' tuition ($3500 '07-'08) you must forward $600 to the church in addition to base tuition by April 15th. All in all, good school, but if Catholicism is not your top priority, education-wise, Deerfield public schools offer the same for alot less money. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School

Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
