This is an excellent school. This year the fine arts programs have been added back in to the curriculum. The test scores are good, teachers are very dedicated, there are cutting edge things happening and best practices are utilized by the staff in all classrooms. The taxes are not high for Will County,

Crete Elementary School is excellent. They have excellent test scores. The teachers are sincere and dedicated. This school is one of the best keep secrets in the southeast suburbs.

Music, art, and PE are non-existent in this school and its a shame. Though the teachers do try to add it all into the cirriculum, it's not enough, especially PE. Children need an outlet for energy instead of acting out in the classroom.

Very good test scores. Unfortunate Budget Cutbacks have hurt school terribly however. No art, music or PE. Large class sizes. The current Principal (2005/2006) is quite excellent.

I used to go to this school and let me tell you something. I loved it. I have so many great memories. The teachers are excellent and only want the best for their 'kids'. Maybe more children would be successful if their parents got more involved with their learning. There is a sense of family in the building. The recent Night of Science was awesome. Hated sending my child to school. Something bad happens almost every day. Has made very little progress in the last 4 yrs. Is still learning to read and write. Extremly high taxes in Crete! Advanced Placement
