This school year was great. The school looks amazing, and the students are so talented- I definitely mean it! All schools may have behavior problems, but this year was very impressive. Crete-Monee High School had their first open house for freshman on Wednesday, September 26, 2007. The brand new facility is beautiful and the students should be very proud of their school. The school now has a team approach. All of the teachers seem to be very excited about this coming school year
... Read more and all have indicated that they are off to a great start. I hope this continues. I met many of my sons friends and their parents that night. The children were very respectful and courteous. We received individual information on each teacher which summarizes their background and teaching experience. I was very impressed with this initial meeting. The principal, as well as the superintendent, were at this event and clearly stated what is expected from the students. my son came to cmhs last year for his sophmore year. He always had some special ed classes once in cmhs he had a lot of problems adjusting. The school is not a bad school the teachers are there to help and if you are willing to give your all they are there. I will say the school is over crowed but with

All that stuff about metal detectors and fights everyday and problems are all wrong. I go to the school and none of that happens. Crete-Monne has some of the best honors classes in the State. The honors programs are decent. If the child is motivated they can definitely get use out of their education. However, the 'regular' classes aren't that great. The kids in those classes just don't seem to care. They have a decent amount of activities & sports. Just the norm. Hmmm, i was a student there

Advanced Placement
