I am very disappointed with the academic experience my child had at the Sykuta school. The program was not challenging, and the level of communication which exists amongst the teachers, administration and parents is not only unacceptable, but detrimental to the overall development of our children.

I have a son in Kindergarten and he is doing great. His teacher is wonderful and she genuinely cares about his well being. I am there everyday to pick him up. I or my husband speak to the teacher daily about his progress. If the parents are really involved it makes a huge difference because the teachers

Principal only cares about her appearance. If she does not have the do the work she is happy. School could be much better with a principal that will really work not one that pretends to work and then complains. No music or art. Many of the students are behavioral problems that do not live in the district
... Read more but the school allows them in. For the most part the teachers are great (you always have a few that could care less). I will warn you that near the end of the year teachers appear to be extrememly stressed from lack of support. If you chld is in the special education area don't look for much assistance. My child rarely saw the special aide teacher or speech teacher. Read less

But then again the children that attend this school are practically babies.One would hope that a school is competent enough to handle teaching children at this age. Having a special needs child enrolled here has been a bit of a headache. I don't see any marked improvement in my child's academic success since last year. Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
