I have belonged to this parish for 35 years. My whole family went to St. Mary's School except for me. But my 2 sons went there. Being involved with the school now that my sons are there I really regret not going there myself. When my first son graduated he received a scholarship to his high school.

As far as the principal she has done a great job. She keeps the school going and keeps the children in control and treats each child fairly and equally. I still have a son in St. Mary's and I would not want him in any other school. I know he is getting the very best education money can buy. Read less

St. Mary Of Czestochowa is an outstanding grade school who's principal does an outstanding job everyday, along with the teachers. The education and leadership at this school is excellent, and has always been excellent. My mom(81), myself(56), and my sons(20 & 19) have attended this school. My sons

St. Mary's is so lucky to have the principal they have, and the teachers, also. Students are very lucky to have the Catholic education and discipline they are receiving. Students need structure along with discipline and need to be made accountable for their actions. This means consequences for inappropriate behavior; not criticism from parents of a principal who follows guidelines and is excellent. Read less

I have been at this school for 14 years. The demographics of the Cicero area have changed and so has the quality of the leadership at St. Mary's. The education is good, but limited funding and changing neighborhoods reflect the negative changes in the school. This is our last year at St. Mary's.
