I have to disagree with the student's remark on June 22, 2008. Class of 2008 graduated and have been accepted to the best high schools in Chicago. 6 out of 20 will be attending Lane Tech. WOW! What a statement. Not to mention, Trinity, Resurrection, St. Pat's and Guerin Prep. Our students do great

This is truly a great school. Besides the caring teachers they do offer art, music and computer classes. They are also offering band afterschool. They just installed a state of the art computer lab with enough computers for a complete class to use. The also offer sports such as basketball, track, and

bowling to name a few. Parent involvement can improve, seems like the same few familes run all the events but they seem to get the job done. No overcrowding issue here. Also before and aftercare is offered. Students remain safe in the school. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School

Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
