My youngest was valedictorian of his 8th grade class and was salutatorian of his senior class at Luther North and now attends a prestigious university. I can't say enough about the quality education Messiah has given my family. Reading a couple of these reviews saddens me. I have been a member of Messiah quite a few years and would highly recommend anyone looking for a High academic/Christian Environment school should look to Messiah. Read less

I am the parent of a first grader at Messiah. She has been offered a number of opportunities that I know she would not receive elsewhere. Her teachers have always been very apprachable. ... Read more their child's teacher to addresss concerns. My guess would be no. Each time I have had a concern, the staff has been more than willing to meet with me and adress them. The teachers are exremely dedicated, often putting in long hours and volunteering to supervise extra programs for which I am pretty sure they are not being paid. As a parent of 2 very different students at Messiah, I have a unique insight on how teachers react to different learning styles. I have found the teachers to be supportive to the 'less advanced' student, and because of the small class sizes the teacher can take the time to make sure this student understands
... Read more the lesson plan. Teachers are also able to support the 'fast learner' by applying more learning opportunities outside the box. Messiah offers a program for after school hours. Messiah offers several sports teams as well. Read less

My children have been at Messiah for 4 years and we are very happy with the education they are receiving. I have not had any issues with teachers or staff. They are all friendly approachable and more that competent. I find that more often than not, parents are the problem not the school.

The class sizes are small but if your child has difficulties the teachers do not wish to handle these types of kids. With such small size classes all the children should be on the Honor List but only the same children remain on their high achiver list. I would not recommend this school for the education
... Read more value this may be obtained in any other school but if you wish your child to be in a 'Christian' environment then Messiah is OK. Be warned that your child may become the object of bullies and the Princial will do nothing about it. I say take your money and invest it some where else! Read less

There is no help for those students who are 'outside of the box'. Teachers only want to deal with children who will not be an accademic hassle. With such small class sizes all children should be on High Honor Roll sadly this is not the case. Messiah does not have much to offer besides the 'Christan

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. Before/After School

Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
