my son is a freshman this year and loves it. He is 1 of 3 Hispanics there and gets along with all the young men there. I love it because its small compared to the public school he came from. The teachers and coaches care about my son, he gets tutoring when he needs it and the teachers keep us updated

My dad, Joe Prendergast, who was born in 1920, graduated from St. Leo's High School in the late 30's. He turned out to be a wonderful guy! Everyday he woke up he was thankful for the day! Please rethink your child's school selection if you are headed in this direction. Although a small school for those children who do not do well in large surroundings, Leo does not administer the ACT for it's Junior class and does not offer extra help. Administration is not stern and lets the students

A school is how your child perceives the experience, but academically Leo is not a great foundation to start your child for their future. It is not worth it for the money that you are spening!! This is a bare bones school that basically services inner-city boys who would be out on the streets or in prison. There's nothing academically worthwhile here, just the basic education one might get at a public HS -- no frills, facilities are decrepit and out of date. Send your kid here if you want

Leo High School is a great school and the staff and administrators are a positive help for the students and parents. My two young men graduated from Leo in 2005 and 2007. They are attending a university on a full academic scholarship and doing quite well.

Leo has been there for my two boys and help them grow into Leo men My boys are very successful today and I thank Leo Highschool for that and that's why I'm still invovled with Leo today to help the young boys grow into Leo men.

Compassion and caring about the students is an understatement when I refer to the faculty. There is always an open door policy regardless of the situation for student and or parent(s). I thank God every day that Leo is there for the inner city youth.
