I been here for 4 years this is got to be the worst school I ever seen. I have been here at kelvyn park since sept 2002 and I am graduating june 2006. Kelvyn Park has help me with everything that I needed help in if it was in one of my classes or just asling a question. ... Read more thier is tutoring either by our teachers themselves or some students mentors that the school has Called The Natinoal PuertoRican Forum. We also offer many sports programs that will help benefit the students in that certain need of training. Also if the coach seees that student is not doing so well in a class then he or she will be placed in tutoring . We also have a Local School Concil that talks about the problems and great things that have happen to kelvyn park in the last month or so. Read less

It is unfortunate but a true reality that this school is one of the worst schools i have ever seen. Some of the teachers have low expectations of the students. In general, the curriculum is of poor quality. The principal is more concern about the physical upkeep of the building than that of the students'

Though, the principal is very good at giving speeches about how concern she is about the students academics,etc., The 'open door' policy that is proclaimed does not exit for this administration! it is all talk! parental involvement is all non-existant. Kelvyn Park High School is not a great school, but it does the work. My child is a senior, and he passed the act test and now he is going to a great college. This school needs more discipline, education, more school programs to help the students that are behide in classes. It needs a better enviroment. Advanced Placement
