We are so happy at this school. Its funny I spend quite a bit of time out in the community and find no problems with the children from this school at our area parks. ... Read more school. He has more homework than he did at a private school. His teacher has a masters instead of a bachelors degree. There are musicals, clubs, etc. They are developing a reading garden. They have all kinds of animals in the science lab. There is an open door policy and I have used it frequently. I was concerned about the reputation of the school but found individuals providing opinions did not have actual facts. I am more than happy to have the extra money in my bank account. My daughter attends pre-k at Hitch. From the time I went to the parents meeting/registration last spring the staff, particularly the principal have exuded a true sense of community and made me and my family feel like welcome members of that community. Advanced Placement
