We could use more parent involvement and support from the home. I am sorry, but we can't do it all! It does start in the home! I know that we have areas that need improvement; who doesn't?? As a teacher of this school, I am upset at the fact that some parents can say that the teachers don't care about the kids. Teaching requires kids all day, and if we didn't care, we wouldn't report to school daily. Teaching is our passion and we carry it out proudly at Caroline Sibley School.

My daughter is in the 1st grade, and she does well, I think Parents need to get more involved with their childs future and stop depending on the Teacher to do all the work. The school is improving year by year which is great but one thing they should work on is the conduct at the lunch periods for the grades 5 and 6 . Also, they need better food because my child has reported that some of the food is not thourghly cooked .Last but not least the school needs alot of improvement

Read more in the way it looks, for example they need a seprate gymnassium and not the gym mixed with auditorium .Another thing is that the floors are hideous and they could use alot of work im just going to make a sugesstion of wooden floors these are some things the school needs to work on. MY child was a straight A student coming to this school. When he transferred, he was still getting straight A's but was having problems with behavior. I learned later that is was because he was bored with the work that was being given. I transferred my son and he is being challenged now and has less

Advanced Placement
