I am a freshman at Bolingbrook High School and I think it is wondeful. This year we now have the retake policy which allows students to redo homework and tests that they did not do so well on. This gives all students the oppurtunity to pass each and every class, so now there is no reason for any student

Along with the retake policy, students have so many resources for help with school work its not even funny, there is a math lab during every lunch and homeroom period where students can go to retake tests, study, and get help with homework. Having all this help with school is a blessing. If you have problems with another student we have the peer mediation center where your problems can be taken care of. i am a student at BHS and i think the school is WAY too big. that where alot of disipline problems come from, over crowding. and for the record, BHS has just enought deans, 9 to be exact. and 20 security gurads ans their not even done yet

The principal at this school is completley incompetent of maintaining order and following through with dicipline. His management of the dicipline code is poor at best. Inconsitencies and lack of consequences has allowed the students to run the show. Mr. Mitchum you should be ashamed that you allow bullies

Cons: Many behavioral problems, not enough deans/counselors, low academic standards, too many students, its extremely easy to ditch class and not get into trouble, lazy teachers. Pros: Modern and huge building, many extracurricular activities, fairly good after-school tutoring programs.
