I have 2 children who have been at White Pine for 4 years. They are excelling academically and they love to go to school. The teachers are outstanding and really care about each of the children. The teachers get to know each of the children and their needs. The staff and principle know each of the
... Read more children and are very willing to help them where ever they see a need. They are developing the extracurricular programs more each year and my children are enjoying each of the programs they take part in. I am excited for the new school building to be completed this year. I think it will help provide an even safer and more positive experience for my children. Read less

We have been involved with this school for a couple of years and have found this to be the greatest experience for our kids and us. This is the first time any of my kids actually wanted to go to school. My kids are learning everything from the basic math skills that they missed in regular school to
... Read more public speaking and alot of science. Imagine learning and loving it at the same time. We also love that the focus is on academics and not sports. My son hasn't missed his wrestling and football and if he does we have the option of duel enrollment to sign up for sports. School is about learning and we love that we have found a place that offers our kids this opportunity. Read less

... Read more worry about requesting the teacher you want because they are all equally excellent. Our children can participate in band, orchestra, choire, student council or a youth advisory council with the community. The opportunities at White Pine are extrodinary. The best part is that Charter School provides us with a choice for our childrens education and choice is what makes being an American a great blessing. Read less

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.
Before/After School

psychomotor ability, such as practical, spatial, mechanical, and physical skills.
Vocation/Technical Curriculum
Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.
Special Education Classes
A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
