I have had two different children attend Waukee Elementary for a combined total of 7 years. Overall we have been pleased. The teachers are caring and I always felt very welcome in the building and classroom. I didn't love every teacher that we had, but I didn't have any specific complaints about them.

* In 2007-2008 Iowa used the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS) to test students in grades 3 through 8 in reading and math. The results for grades 4 and 8 are displayed on GreatSchools profiles. The scores reflect the performance of students enrolled for the full academic year. The ITBS is a norm-referenced test, which means it measures how well students in Iowa score in comparison to their peers nationwide.
