This school was awesome..The Teachers were very nice and just plain awesome...I love Ilima..It was the best middle school experience for me..They do need to get a new Principal because he really does not help the school in any way and ALL the teachers dislike him and he spies on all the students at breaks

Most teachers are dedicated and caring, unfortunately the school's Principal will rather downplay and/or downright ignore the discipline problems that are ruining the school's reputation. Parental involvement is also noticeably lacking and badly needed.

as a student of this school i would have to say there has been a major improvement over the last couple of years.im an 8th grader and looking back i can see the major improvement over the last year.one of the biggest yet would be the cemented courted! it is a much needed improvement.like most students

Well we moved to Ewa Beach from California. I was extremely disappointed to see that the 8th grade social studies was what she had in 6th grade in CA, the 8th grade science/adv math what she had in 7th grade in CA. My daughter heard the rumors. She was sooo scared to start her first day, but now that she has, she loves it. She loves the schedule and brags about her teachers. She even wanted to go when she was sick. That has never happen before. I give it thumbs up!

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level.
