Read what parents are saying about St Benedicts Episcopal Schoolas a student here, i feel absolutely horrible hereas another student, i despise this school. they claim to say that this is a safe space and this is absolutely not true. i watched as half of my friends were bullied and absolutely NOTHING was done about it. in fact, half the time the bully got the upper hand. i watched as one of my best friends LEFT the school after bullied here. not only that, the teachers watch this happen and does a terrible job enforcing this “safe space”. i hate this school and am counting down the days till graduation. PLEASE don’t go to this middle school.
Posted by a community member on 12/29/2023This school is not organized at all! There are only 2 people on leadership who actually care about the school! The marketing is excellent and the admissions team are amazing. The rest of leadership is self centered and do not care about your student. The organization is not there for the size of the school. Facilities are terrible and need to be fixed. They bought new land and yet they can’t fix the problems with buildings they do have.
Posted by a community member on 6/21/2023Both of our children are students at St. B’s, starting in the PreK 2’s program. We love the tight-knit community feel, the teachers our children have had thus far are superb (my kids love school and learn so much each day!), and love that Spanish is a core curriculum.
Posted by a parent on 12/16/2021Compulsory "Pollyanna Racial Literacy Curriculum" bought and controlled by families with the most money. Discussion or input from anyone else prohibited. Administration 100% complicit.
Posted by a parent on 6/30/2021I love St. B's! I have so many friends. More than I have ever had at my other school. My teachers are totally awesome!

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey are cruel and irresponsible. I have a non verbal child who can't tell us about his day. It's been 2 months and we still can't get a note to tell us about his day. We've done everything and it's been totally exhausting. Teachers are unaccountable. They hate parents- especially fathers. If you have an autisic child this school would be a mistake.Parent Review7mo ago - Teasley Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have been hearing some bad report about this school far as diversity. My grand baby never has homework, or anything sent home. I don't play when it comes to my grandchild, and I'm going to have a full investigation done on this school. There should be no tolerance for racism in America especially in the school system. I have also read similar report on issue with race and the administration, who in my personal opinion needs to be fired. I've never been to any school where parents don't have access to a building that house their children for over eight hours a day, and that is unacceptable. I have read each review some have experience what I've also have heard about toward my grandson. All children should be treated equally, and if any parent who sees differently should speak up and say something that's part of being a community, as someone stated. I going to continue to do my research and when I'm done, I'm sending letters to everyone...when I say everyone, I mean everyone...This is ridiculous that I or anyone would have to report a school in the 21 centuries about racism, and bad behavior toward children.Other Review2mo ago - Nickajack Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love Nickajack! Our teachers treat our kids like family. The leadership is very supportive. Our family engagement is off the charts between the PTA and Foundation and other volunteer opportunities!Parent Review5mo ago - Trinity School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMixed. Ended on a sour note due to very weak, almost detrimental placement program for middle school. Very nice physical plant can distract from problem areas. School encourages elitism; a few families have too much influence.Parent Review6y ago - Covenant Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur child attends first grade at this school and has been attending for 2 years now. The school has a rigorous curriculum where my husband and I have seen my child's reading skills grow by leaps and bounds since she has been at the school. By the end of her kindergarten year, she scored above grade level in all subjects. Her kindergarten teacher was also really great at helping all of the students feel like they were extended family to one another. Currently, her first-grade teacher, Mrs. Piggott is a wonderful teacher. She has wonderful classroom management skills and is an engaging teacher with a calm presence. Most importantly, she loves Jesus and has shared her genuine love for Jesus and good character in how she conducts herself but also when it comes to how she teaches her students. There are quite a bit of in-school, engaging projects and activities that make my child love school. And my child also looks forward to her Wednesday chapel time as well, which parents can also attend if they'd like. I have heard her and her classmates singing worship songs that they learn in their music class even outside of school time, and it's refreshing to hear that. The school has increased its extra-curricular, afterschool activities since we've been attending, now offering piano, dance, STEM, and physical activity classes (and expanding offerings as well), which also is a wonderful thing. They also put on events for students and parents pretty regularly, which is also a good thing.Parent Review1y ago - Buckhead Preparatory School, LLC - Smyrna

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’ve had 2 kids attend Smyrna prep (one went from 16 month- pre k 4) and the other has been there 1.5 years. We have had an amazing experience for both kids. Super loving teachers. Our now almost 6 year old was very well prepared for his kindergarten experience after leaving. They have always been super supportive, and treated my kids like their own.Parent Review5mo ago - Smyrna Montessori School
