I have had children in this school for four years now and have absolutely no complaints. We have had wonderful teachers and feel that the curriculum and facilities are top notch. HAving had experiences with other Georgia school districts we are thankful and well pleased here in Cherokee County!

... Read more Mrs. Lawing and Mrs Dominie..she was the best student in the class (they're words, not mine) and we never ever had a behavior problem with our child..until AME. K5 went okay, and we expected adjustments to be needed and made due to our child being kept home until preschool, and we expected a big difference from preschool to a more structured enviroment as AME..what we did not expect was round after round of bad teachers. My daughter has been attending AME for two years we have many bad experiences with the teachers. ... Read more parent complaining and finally had my daughter removed form the class. I haev come to realize that the older teachers may have more expierence but they lack the drive and the love of there jobs. My daughter did end up getting switch to another class and that teacher was kind, understanding and helpful. But once again the following year we get the same thing older teacher who are very unfreindly, rude and very short tempered. Not iimpressed with this school at all Read less

The school & teachers are nice, but the curriculum is lacking. The curriculum is behind the level her previous school was at (reading, math, computers) when we moved and we can see her advancing at a much slower pace than before she entered the GA public school system. The extracurricular / after-school
... Read more programs for enrichment in areas like foreign languages, academics, arts and sports are limited. We feel that we have to either find an expensive private school or supplement her education with extracurricular academics to ensure she is getting a solid education. Read less

Arnold Mill is a terrific school! The teachers and staff are caring and the parent community is very involved. I especially like the 'gifted clustering' that keeps higher achieving students together so they don't get bored.

Advanced Placement
AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.
Adult Education Classes
Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.
English as Second Language
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
